PROGRAMS
At Ascend Early Childhood Center we believe that children reach their milestones in how they play and learn. Little Researchers care (4-15 Months)
During the first year of life, babies undergo an incredible transformation. They grow and change at an astounding pace and every month brings new exciting developments. Our highly qualified and experienced staff are prepared to take care of your baby’s needs with a warm and nurturing bond. We ensure that your baby will receive the best care in a safe, healthy, and caring environment. In this way he or she will reach the developmental milestones through purposeful play.
Little Specialists care (16 months-2 Years)
During this stage, toddlers are moving around more, becoming more aware of themselves and their surroundings. They will show greater independence, they recognize themselves in a picture or a mirror, they imitate the behaviour of others (especially adults), they begin to recognize the names of familiar people and objects, and follow simple instructions and directions. Our key staff will always stimulate the children’s desire to explore new objects by giving them many opportunities for independent play, small group activities, teacher-facilitated activities and outside play. We provide a reassuring routine to offer a sense of security.
Little Doctors care (2- 3 Years)
During this stage, the children show a growing desire to be independent. This is an exciting time. They experience huge learning, thinking, social, and emotional changes that help them explore their new world and make sense of it. They become able to sort objects by shape and colour, follow two- or three-step directions, and imitate the actions of adults and playmates. We provide engaging experiences, such as lessons and activities that lead children to improve gross motor, fine motor, and cognitive, emotional, social, speech and language abilities.
Little Professors care (4-5 Years)
As children grow into early childhood, they become more independent. They want to explore, ask questions and learn about the things around them. During this stage, children are able to use safety scissors, play with other children, recall part of a story and sing songs. Our key staff assist children to develop and enhance confidence and creativity through ongoing exploration and discovery. We encourage our children to play with other children and to learn the value of sharing and friendship.
Little Graduates care (5-6 Years)
At Ascend Early Childhood Center, we provide a solid foundation by giving individual attention to all children. We focus on developing the building blocks that ensure a firm foundation for education – language and listening skills coupled with confidence in mathematics reading and writing. Our key staff encourage children to learn new topics every day, while making learning fun and enjoyable.
CARE FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITY OR SPECIAL NEEDS

Special Needs Care Services
Our goal as educational professionals is to ensure that children with disabilities and special needs are receiving learning, exceptional care they deserve and personal care such as;
- Feeding
- Dressing/ Grooming
- Oral and personal hygiene
- Toileting
- Reporting conditions and changes to parents.
- Partnerships with providers for children’s therapies such as speech, occupational, physical and behavioral amongst others.

NUTRITION
At Ascend Early Childhood Center, we offer children quality and good nutrition for healthy development. We offer daily lunch meals, morning and afternoon snacks.
ENROLLMENT
Come visit us, we will be happy to answer your questions. On your visit, you can complete the necessary forms to enroll your child, and decide a start date.
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admission
The admission process in is based on ongoing enrolment. You may enroll your child at any time throughout the year. Acceptance into any of the classes is based on availability.
Registration Fee
There is a one-time registration fee and a deposit is required to enroll all children and guarantee placement at the Center. The registration fee/deposit may be applied to the waitlist if the classroom requested is unavailable.

- A completed registration form.
- A completed Health form from the child’s paediatrician.
- Any waivers, allergy, compliance or other forms that may be requested based on your child’s specific needs.
HOLIDAY TIME DAY CARE CAMP
Enrol to our Holidays daily Camp program (Half of Full say) during school breaks and make school’s holiday time fun!
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We are deeply rooted in the communities we serve and support organizations that share our vision of creating a better world. We partner with local schools to provide a book, crayons or a stuffed animal, which can do a world of good to any child.
